Hello.. my bro is on Voda as he has been since Oct/Nov 2007, he has an N95 8GB with them, he wanted it unlocked, So I told him to nip to the voda shop (where he bought the phone) and they would unlock it for him FOC, well, he got there and they unlocked it, but charged him £20 the process... is the £20 right, or is someone making a few quid, as they wouldn't give him a receipt for it.....
/smells a rat!

Imo 20 gbp is very cheap price, i can get it unlocked for the same price with a box, 3rd party solution of course

im on voda and ive always told them i want the phone unlocked, every phone ive had with them ive asked for it to be unlocked for nothing, as i pay quite a bit of money (50 quid a month) |

In store it is £20 for the unlock code as we have never been told anything other than that, so regardless of what is stated online, It is £20 in store.
He should have got a receipt mind you.

i bought a voda locked phone from ebay, email them on using my contract details and got the unlock code this morning (Sunday!)

I thought the BB5 type are hard to unlock that th only way to unblock them is have the proceedure done via the networks
