You'll probably find this is so you don't wind up over-charging the battery, which would damage it. Mines does the same thing, it'll stop at 100% and start charging again if the battery life dips below 90%. You'll find that over time, laptop batteries lose their capacity if always plugged into the A/C, maybe doing this helps prevent that. |
