Is there any way you've found to keep the white balance on fluorescent? as it keeps changing back to auto. |

No, when you close the cam it come back to default settings.
You can also use sunlight whitebalance with flash pics.

it looks sharper because is not uploaded on esato server..esato make images to look a litle bit blured
at full size they are the same...same algorithm i think and same camera module
look this c905 photo sharp is not it?

I think the renoir has some issues with the watercolor effect too, in landscapes. But guess will be resolved soon. |

The Renoir is clearly sharper than C905, catch more details with less noise reduction.
It has sometimes the staircase’s problem and watercolor effect but in several conditions take great shots:

Flash is a big letdown. The Renoir has too much contrast and color in the pics IMO. Also th pics ar a bit yellowish, maybe for the white balance. |

I think the Renoir makes the best pics your gonna get from a tiny 8mp cmos sensor.
