Thanks buntoo for the link. I have tried it. I am afraid it is too advanced for me. so i returned to my simple rocketdock.
About my ds980, it has came back to me. Shopkeeper said he cant repair it. Now i am thinking of getting the battery from the first repairshop which was giving me slight less standby time but at least my ds980 will come in life. Meantime, i will keep searching for the battery.

@ceaser2008, Yep, this dock is a bit complicated to configure but its simply the best of all docks i've tried yet.
Anyway, why don't you consider buying another BT handsfree. I personally like and thinking of buying MW600. What do you think abt it?

Yes mw600 is the best available from sony but for now i cannot afford it. I would be wise spending Rs. 500 then spending Rs. 3000+

Has anyone tried to take an HBH-DS980 apart by himself/herself? I actually own a DS970 which is broken (the left ear-piece is non-functional) and a DS980 whose battery is dead but works well if it is plugged in the charger. So, I was thinking of taking the battery from the DS970 and puting it into the DS980, however I'm having a hard time taking the DS970 apart without breaking it I'd like to keep the DS980 as intact and usable as possible.
